Frequently Asked Questions

We know you’ve got questions. We’re here to help.

If you don’t see your question below, feel free to reach out to us on our contact page to talk to a real person at NESHER to get answers quickly.

  • You can find all of the prices for our equipment in our online store page here: https://www.nesherequipment.com/store/

Unlike most other heavy equipment machinery, we show you our prices up front instead of hiding them behind a phone operator or special order catalog.

For example, A Bobcat L28 costs $48,000, but you'll have to dig around for a while to find that. We want you to know right up front that our comparably spec'ed NESHER L1400 only costs $21,600.

  • You can find technical specifications for our loaders and other machines on the product pages. Simply scroll further down the page for the detailed tech specs. For example, the tech specs for the L880 loader can be found further down the page here: https://www.nesherequipment.com/store/p/l880-electric-wheel-loader

  • When you’re ready to make an order, reach out to us on our Contact Us page with your desired order and shipping location so that we can prepare a freight quote for you. (We can also pre-arrange local pickup in Florida, if you prefer).

We try to keep most of our machines in stock, but due to high demand, we are occasionally out of stock for a few weeks at a time.

If your machine is in stock, you can make payment and get your machine out to you in just a few days, though shipping may take a couple of weeks during high demand periods when we are shipping out several machines in a short period of time.

If your machine is currently out of stock, we can take a deposit to reserve your machine, then complete the balance payment and ship it to you as soon as it arrives.

  • We try to keep all of our loaders, attachments, and other items in stock in our US warehouses. However, during peak demand periods, we may be temporarily out of stock of one or more pieces of equipment.

If you’d like to be put on the short list to purchase an item as soon as we have new stock coming in, reach out to us on our contact page. You'll reach our owners directly, not some call center in India.

  • For now, we have three sizes of front-end loaders: our L880, which has an 880-lb lift capacity, our L1400, which has a 1,400-lb lift capacity, and our L3000, which has a 3,000-lb lift capacity. We are currently evaluating other machines for consideration, and are expanding our lineup when we feel a machine adds value. We won't offer a machine or an attachment that we don't believe in and aren't proud to stand behind.

  • We use freight companies to ship equipment around the US. Freight charges per machine vary and we can get a quote to you if you reach out to us on our contact page with your desired order and your zip code.

We also offer local pickup if you have a suitable trailer and would like to make the drive to our location in Southwest Florida.

We will also be expanding our physical locations to offer quicker and lower-cost freight options around the US.

We are not yet shipping to countries outside the US, but we are exploring options for Canadian shipments and may expand further soon.

  • For now, we are stocking the following attachments for our loaders: General purpose buckets, pallet forks, augers, excavators, snow plows, grapples, and 4-in-1 buckets. We are currently evaluating other attachments and may add to the list soon.

  • Probably not, unfortunately. Our loaders don’t use a standard attachment plate due to the inclusion of our convenient quick hitch that allows you to swap attachments from your seat. This means our attachments are made to specifically fit our loaders and ensures that all attachments work perfectly on our machines.

  • Yes! Check out our NESHER NX2500 electric mini-excavator. It’s the perfect size for operators searching for a compact, affordable machine.

We also offer our electric mini-loaders with an excavator attachment that can allow you to dig down to around 4 feet of depth - enough for most small projects like trenching and tree planting!

  • Would you leave your lawn mower or power tools outside?

Like just about any tractor or tool, outdoor storage will degrade a machine and cause it to wear quicker. NESHER’s electric loaders and excavators are best stored indoors, such as in a barn, shop, warehouse, shipping container, etc.

If parked outside, they should be covered by a roof structure to sufficiently protect them from the elements such as rain, hail, snow, intense UV, etc. Car ports can work well, though we recommend a car port or shed with tarp side walls to prevent heavy rains from blowing through.

  • The only thing more important than a good and hardworking machine is a good and hardworking company to stand behind it. That's the only way we know how to operate.

Our machines are built to be robust, but any work machine can eventually needs parts and support. We stock spare parts for nearly every component in our US warehouse. For anything we don't currently have on hand, we can get it to you directly from our factory in a matter of days, not weeks.

In all of the machines we've shipped around the US, we've only ever had to send out a couple of spare parts to fix a broken component. Each time, the part was there a couple of days later to get our customer back in action.

  • As a family-owned company located in Florida, we don't have a nationwide network of service centers (though good luck getting service from a John Deere center for their machines anytime soon, either).

However, a major advantage of NESHER's machines is that they are relatively simple to work on, and most folks that are relatively handy can perform service themselves. These aren't heavily computerized machines and there is very little maintenance to perform compared to diesel tractors.

All of the mechanical systems, such as the hydraulics, can easily be worked on by any local mechanic or tractor repair center. The electronics are also simple and many service centers are now familiar with electric motors and controllers due to the proliferation of electric forklifts and other machinery. But even working on the electronics is fairly simple for owners, and can often be a matter of just unplugging connectors to swap out a component.

  • Our loaders use AGM batteries, similar to many golf cart batteries, though quite a bit bigger.

With proper care (i.e. not abusing the batteries or leaving them discharged for long periods of time), they should last for many years of use.

If you do ever need to change them, replacements are available at local home improvement stores like Home Depot and Lowes, or online from retailers like Amazon. We can also provide you with replacement batteries, but to be honest, it's probaby more economical to simply purchase the heavy batteries locally than to ship them. We can even help you source the right ones if you're unsure about matching the specs printed on the batteries.

This is one of the reasons we haven't used lithium batteries in our loaders, in order to make them easier for owners to source and work on themselves. The heavy AGM batteries also serve as counterweight, meaning switching to lithium batteries would actually reduce the loaders' performance by lowering their lift capacities.

  • A lot of our customers are hardworking, blue collar folks just like us. We know you've got real questions. And we've got real answers.

If something isn't answered here and you want to know more, reach out to us via our contact page.

You'll get one of our owners, not some call center in India. We're happy to chat with you on the phone, too. Just leave your question or a number and we'll get back to you.
